Best time to visit
March and June is known as summer season which is the best time to visit Munsiyari. Summer offer tourists with beautiful views of the Himalayan peaks of Nandakot, Nandaghungti, Rambha, Shiplakot, and Panchachuli.
Nov-Feb is winter season which attract tourists who want to experience snowfall as the entire Himalayan peaks are covered by snow during this time.

By Air : Pantnagar Airport is the nearest airport to reach Munsiyari from flight which is about 250 kms in Nainital district of Uttarakhand .This airport is well connected with daily flights from Delhi. Taxi and buses are available at the airport to reach Munsiyari.
By Train : Kathgodam (275 kms) and Tanakpur (286 kms) are the nearest railway station having number of trains running from major cities of India.
By Bus : Munsiyari is well connected with major cities of Uttarakhand and northern India with both government and private buses network.There are number of buses to Munsiyari operating frequently from ISBT Anand Vihar delhi to Tanakpur, Almora, Haldwani. From there you can easily get taxi and cab service to reach Munsiyari.
